The Launch Course lasts three to four weeks, with 8 classes total. You’ll be participating in introductory classes, focusing on bodyweight movements and lightweight implements. In each session, a coach will teach and demonstrate the foundational movements we use in CrossFit, as well as review your range of motion and various scales to get you moving safely. The first six classes are strictly intro course classes. Learn the 9 foundational movements and how CrossFit workouts are varied, not random. Following the instruction portion of the class, you will participate in a workout. Let's get a baseline and see how we can help you progress towards your fitness and health goals.
The final two classes consist of the Launch athletes participating in a regular CrossFit class while being accompanied by one of their Launch coaches as a bridge from the Launch classes into regular classes. We typically keep the ratio of coaches to Launch athletes at 1:4.
